Dr. Nirosha Wedasinghe had been acquired her first degree in Computing and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University in UK in 2005, and her masters from Charles Sturt University Australia in 2008. Dr. Wedasinghe has obtained her PhD in Information Systems from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. At present Dr. Wedasinghe is Sen Lecturer of Faculty of Computing and Director of Gender equality and Equity center in General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Currently She is an Executive member of the CSSL 2023 and the program chair for CSSL GenZ Chapter and the Special interest group of Women in ICT. Currently She is a Senior Member of IEEE, MSG Member and the Chairperson for Fellowship Committee in Asia pacific Reagon Internet Governance Forum 2022 and 2023. She has held many administrative positions in General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University including the Research Cordinater of the Faculty, the Faculty Student Counselor, and the Program cordinater for MBA in E-Governance program and Information systems Degree program and the Chairperson of curriculum development committee of Faculty of Computing.
